NEW STRATEGIES FOR DIAGNOSIS AND

ABOUT CONGRESS

Dear colleagues!

The Kazakh Institute of Oncology and Radiology, together with the Kazakh Cancer Society, invite you to participate in "New strategies for diagnosis and treatment in oncology" conference. The conference will be held on April 25-26, 2022, in Almaty, in a hybrid format (online/offline).

Our traditional, annual spring conference dedicated to lung cancer, this year will be supplemented by sections on breast tumors, oncourology, tumors of the gastrointestinal tract, bones and soft tissues and IGCS session. The audience will also expand. We expect more than 200 delegates from all regions of Kazakhstan: oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, gynecologists, nuclear medicine specialists, residents, academic stuff and students of medical universities. The conference program includes topics on scientific breakthrough in the development and evolution of malignancies, cutting-edge technologies for diagnosing and treating cancer, innovative methods of personalized therapy, targeted therapy and immuno-oncology, high-tech methods of radiation therapy and modern achievements in oncosurgery. It is planned to hold round tables on personalized therapy, bladder cancer, a joint section with IGCS on oncogynecology. Our colleagues from the USA, France, Korea, the Russian Federation, Israel, and Great Britain are invited to share experience and knowledge.

In 2022, the implementation of the Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan for 2018-2022 is coming to an end. In this regard, we need to take stock and form a work plan for the coming years. The conference will serve as a dialogue platform for the exchange of views and summarizing the preliminary results of the implementation of the Plan's measures.

The conference will also be broadcast on the online platform for the opportunity to get acquainted with the reports to a wide range of specialists.
